Oscar de la Renta - Early Designs
In honor of Oscar de la Renta receiving the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) Founder's Award in Honor of Eleanor Lambert this coming weekend, we take a look back at some of his early designs.
De la Renta's graphic use of color, pattern, and embellishment made his designs wildly popular in the 1960s, and remain many of the most iconic elements of the period.
